What's the easiest way to switch to PPS for someone sending traffic from percentage for awhile and cobranded site ? Should they signup for a new account and choose PPS to take advantage of all the high one-time payouts ?

Yes, just make a new account and select the PPS option (the % option is the default in the little drop down menu) and then change your ref codes to your PPS userid. You may have to re-create your cobranded pages, I think. I can find out for you, if you like.
