when you build a community like i have, its kinda like a small army. i can easly do a mailing to the members or make a post saying hey, check this site out and if you join you get a free weed.com tshirt, or [email protected] email ext. the members want to see the site do well so they do what they can to help out.

and ofcourse the amount of type ins it gets daily helps out a ton.

It's a nice looking site, sticky content, the banner at the top changes on reloads between tangentially-related products and services, and even if it's run in the US it doesn't seem too likely to get its owner/hoster/etc. in trouble with the DEA. I don't see that it's a bad way to monetize the name. Another approach would be google adwords, but I doubt they buy clicks for the terms most visitors are really interested in. What would you critics do to make money with it?

its doing ok now, and yes, fuckin critics, i know the design needs work, im having it redone right now by the guys at www.team31.net Some KILLER flash guys over there (seen the new perfectiongirls banner here? they did that) i just through up that forum to have something on the site that i knew would bring back traffic. we all know a forum will cause people to come back daily, and that was one of my main goals.

yes, we have started our own product line in many diff areas that are related to the traffic. all that will be released once the new design is done.

think of all the cool merchandise you could make weed.com related. well, we stayed up all night and tryed to think of all of it, and the shit that we can do ourselfs we are producing our own lines of. the shit we can, well upsale to those who all ready do it.

guys, you also have to keep in mind ole ashfuckhead wont let us sell bongs, pipes and shit like that from us based companys. granted the corp. is located in the grand Bahamas but that still dont really cover our asses on that 1. still no shipping into the us, and ofcourse the majority of the traffic to the site is from the states.

As he says shipping bongs etc to the US is a major pain in the ass. I'm involved in an online head store that's UK based and the policy is just being changed so that no smoking etc paraphernalia will be shipped to the US, because far too much gets returned. It used to be just seeds we wouldn't ship there.
