I used to play lead in a hardcore band. It was fun and for a while I didnt need a real job. I've been playing since I was 13, but now I just plunk around on my acoustic. I have 2 BC Rich's (warlock and stIII) and a yamaha acoustic. I have a Marshall JCM900 but I never use it, I use my little peavey to play around with.

I still play.I have an ESP KH2, Jackson Soloist, a Jackson Dinky and 2 customs made by Warmoth. All guitars have an original Floyd Rose, Grover tuners and EMG 81 Pick-ups.I'm thinking about buying a Les Paul Black Beauty.Nice guitar, but not a very nice price tag!
I use Marshall amps, 2 half stacks and 1 combo.1 JCM800 Lead and 1 JCM900.The combo is a Marshall Valvestate VS265R with 2 12" Gold back Speakers. The amps use Groove Tubes in both the power and premap sections.
Then there's my rack..Too much crap for one person.
I mainly play original stuff, but my influences are, first and foremost Randy Rhoads, then bands like Metallica, Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, Death, Slayer, Motzart and Beethoven...Just to name a few.
There was one band signed on the Hammerhead lable that was kick ass.Their name was Third Stone.Their guitar player was great.I don't know what happened to them, but they have 2 CD's out worth checking out.
I am a bass player.. I have a one-of a kind hand built 5 string fretless carl thompson. I've been playing for abut ten years. I play in a primus coverband and a couple different screw around bands. And I don't like barn animals REGARDLESS of what my boss says..... where did i put my RIDALIN????
I can't play them, but I love guitars as art. I buy, sell and collect 'em. If you've been to a Hard Rock Cafe in the past 5 years, you've more than likely laid eyes on a few that were mine or that I bought from rockstars and even from myself while working for HRC collecting their memorabilia.
Been playing bass for about a year and a half. Got an Ibanez bass. Right now I'm just using a cheap old guitar amp, but a friend has a Peavey 250 watt bass head Im gonna get. Also just started building a new bass.
I've been playing off and on since 1985. Over 20 guitars have come and gone (USA Jacksons, Gibsons, Fenders) in that time.
My current setup is on the light side: G&L S-500 (king of all strats), Tech21 amp, Crybaby Wah, Keeley Mod TS9 Tubescreamer, old Sigma (Martin) acoustic steel hahahahahahahaha
I suck, but I still play when I can. I have a Yamaha acoustic, a couple old electrics, and my Fender Strat Ultra with the lace pickups. I ended up with this 1956 Fender Pro-Amp a couple months ago...and really started playing again. Music rocks.

That's awesome. Sounds like a fun position to be in.
