I did have a tread here when I built my PC - I documented putting it all together with pics along the way - this was in 2019 - Anyway, I was rather proud of the thread, and jept a note of the URL for future use (like in this thread)

Are you insane?

Why would you put a 5070 in a case like that? No wonder you have an air conditioner connected to it. That stupid case will cause your computer to cook itself in no time without cold air.. Even worse it looks like you have all of that connected to a single wall outlet. How much you wanna bet you're pulling over 2000 watts out of that circuit. What did you do, put a penny in the fuse box too?

It also has to be noisy as hell in that room. My environment is 0 db's of true quietnessnessness except when I blast some heavy metal.

I know you're tight for cash right now. If I were you I would sell that rig and move to a small quiet machine and use a cloud-based AI instead. Sell the Air conditioner too as we're heading into winter now and you won't need it. Take the cash to get back on your feet. This way you can work in quiet comfort with some bills paid, and produce better AI content using the cloud than you can with your 5070, faster.

I can spend $47.00 and get 24,000 credits with openartai and use director to easily direct some crazy looking short movies...

But its totally pointless because

1. they wont make any money.
2. they won't make any money.

got too many old laptops and computers sitting around, now just use an i7 with 16gb ram 1tb ssd, rather than using the tower and updating all the parts....

it's enough for us to update a HD movie and 100 images every other day to my 15 sites & platforms I update to

If you have a spare machine that you aren't doing anything with at all, Try replacing whatever old operating system you have on it with Ubuntu Linux. It's free, your old computer will run fast, and its a great way to learn something new.

I’m an AI junky at this point. So I ain’t knocking it. It’s just the way you’re doing it, is wrong.

People can do what you do themselves, on a $20 subscription with their phone. That’s what AI is really doing right now, making personal things people enjoy themselves. I do this with music. Because I don't bother making AI videos, dumbass! It was fun at the time but it's not rewarding. Giving an AI a Prompt to make a video or image doesn't make you an artist, and the video itself actually has zero value. Maybe that is why you are so bummed out.

The only value in making AI images for me, is for products I make like this



as its cheaper and easier than hiring models. It's also easier to illustrate my brand and products.

You are making AI videos which is fun, but you are complaining you aren't making any money at it. Even worse you probably invested over $8000 in that computer you are using. No wonder you're pissed off all the time.
