Legacy - thanks ! Any others ? I feel like i've wasted quite a few years by not putting a "subscribe to mailing list" tab on my sites....

All right I've spent quite a bit of time in email list management, 8 years precisely.

We've tested an incresingly complex in-house mailing setup, and a number of third party ESP's as well. Were even able to recover from the mass mailing apocalypse after the Google update back in December 2021.

In fact we always used a mix, as you cannot always adapt your in-house system to the volume that you need to send, due to the required warm up period.
So at that point it's easier, and often the only option for a feasible future period of time, to send using an ESP.

There's not that many that would allow adult, and even with those that did in the past, always double-check their current status (MailJet for example that was acquired by Sinch).

if it's your own data to your own product - that's the easiest scenario.
If you want to use your own data to promote a third party offer - that's already toughet.
And if you want to use third party data to promote a third party - that's the toughest scenario.

For a more accurate assessment, I'd need to know the origin of the data, the basic mailing setup, what you're planning to email in terms of offers / templates etc.

YnotMail should still work, iPost is adult friendly, but may be a little bit of an overkill for your use.

One solution I can recommend is ExpertSender This was our primary third party ESP that we used.

          - the starter monthly fee should grant you 300 000 emails per month to be sent.
Just be careful about verifying your emails first, and using a proper domain and IP setup - but they should be able to help with setting everything up, according to the best practices.

If you prefer so - hit me up and I can make a direct introduction to my contact at ExpertSender.
