WordPress is everywhere, but it isn't necessarily the best option for every project.
Between plugins, updates, security issues, themes, hosting, and performance optimization, a simple website can quickly become a lot to maintain.
I'm looking at alternatives for building a solid site from the ground up, especially platforms that offer good performance, security, flexibility, and room to scale.
There are plenty of newer website builders and CMS options now, but some are much better than others once you move beyond a basic site.
