Need Help With A PHP Script.

Anyone familiar with the PHP script Linkup Gold? I have it halfway installed, but I have come to a road block because it tells me that it can't connect to the database. I just need someone to go in and tell me what I did wrong and possibly fix it for me. It shouldn't take long. Is anyone willing to help me out? I can pay by paypal if need be, just let me know your price. Thanks

It says:

ERROR

Unable to connect to the host mysql.webgemshosting.com. Check database host, username, password.


I know thats a very basic error, but all those things are correct. I can connect through a browser, but not through Linkup's "setup.php"

if mysql is on the same server, put localhost as the hostname to connect to.

If you just created the database, and the users to access the database, then you have to reload mysql for it to take effect.

can you connect to the mySQL database and see if everythings there? try leaving out the pasword when you connect..i dont know why..but mySQL is like that..
