Spam is just the term for marketing that people don't necessarily want so if people put a tag line on there post then would that be Spam too ?????

ya know.... I'm gettin' real sick & tired of all the fuckin' wannabe false claims of fucking greatness..... seriously..... it's beginning to make me want to puke. I ain't the greatest muther fucker on the planet, but lately there's been quite a bit of "ooooooo, me so bad!" goin' around.....

I'm thinkin' we need a good ol' fashioned GFY Graphic Designer Showdown.....

One week.
One site.
One vote.


One week (7 days) to create the baddest fucking turnkey tour you can.

You use your own content..... doesn;t have to be existing... you can have custom shoots done, or buy new or whatever.... but still, one week total time. And then the tours get put to the test on a GFY wide vote. Voting would be on various things..... like,... concept, skill, clarity, flow, etc.....


I'm thinkin' this is probly a good idea. Needs some refinement for sure..... but it's got the makin's of somethin' huge. Top five winning tours could be auctioned off here or something.... or donated or whatever....

Anyone game for this?

Thanx to the peeps like DX that have somthing good to say then somthing negative ...

I havent had a complaint yet and I try to make all my costomers happy! Prices may seem high but in reality spending 2400 bucks on a great design can make you that back ten fold.
do the math and you will see what im talking about when you charge anywhere from 19.95 to 35 bucks asignup it will ad up for you quick....

what I am doing, is trying to to get you to illustrate some of this $2400 dollar worthiness.... I tried the easy way by saying I would be interested in seeing it, but that didn't fly with you..... so now I'm trying another way.

AMP.. im game.. although we should get one of the content providers here to sponsor it so we all use the same set of images... maybe 10-20 photos of a few girls... just tell them it's like a "guess how many photos i have" competition and they'll be all over it ..

also im not sure you should be ragging on him for offering a $2400 site.. i mean at least he's dragging the prices up.. not cutting our throats.... it gives him room to come down too..

i may be dumb and design illiterate but the way you slice the images is crazy....i can imagine the surfer on 33.6 modem waiting 3 minutes for all the small squares to load


you'd better map your image with bigger slices made of progressive jpeg otherwise a good 40% of surfers will never wait for the "free tour" or "join" button to load...as they are generally placed at the bottom and the slices start to load from the top.

I see your point but I think it evens the playing field. If a client comes to you with a set to make a design from then you must use his set to the best of your ability. I should hand over the shittiest set I have and see what you all can do with it.
