    Processors calling clients

Today I got a call from a cc processor

Just verifying I had made and authorized a payment online

It was processed over a week ago. It was a $400 script so maybe they try and verify amounts over a certain level.

Has anyone else had such a confimation call, I buy things online all the time, first time anyone verified my purchase by phone.

Maybe this processor is just being ultra careful on chargebacks etc

I work for a web host and as of last month we call all new signup with credit cards to verify.

Starting last month we found 60% fraud.

Hi got one today from 2checkout.com
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
