some basic logistical problems with proposed 2257 regs

given the current state of technology the proposed 2257 regs as written are hopelessly flawed and ambiguous. as usual, lawmakers are about 2-3 years behind the technology curve, and most do not have a fundamental understanding of how the internet works.

the comment period expires shortly. producers need to give realistic examples of how compliance can be accomplished given current technology.

I don't think the proposed regs will pass, it's just too unrealistic.

It looks like you took a great deal of time not only writing this letter but researching the subject. It is very well written and covers a number of things that I think many others have missed. I applaud your hard work.

I just wish more of GFY would take the time to actually read your letter. I would like to personally thank you.
