Mozilla Firefox loading slow @ startup

I have about 6 links in my "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" which is somehow causing Firefox to load very slowly.

It takes about 20 seconds for the links to load up, then the browser is ready to go.

    Any help?

I know mozilla has an option where it's pre-loaded at windows startup (as I think IE does but you cant turn it off) so it's ultrafast when you open it yourself. Im not sure about firefox though, couldn't find it in the options.

IE's just so nasty looking and buggy and displays fucking xhtml and css compliant code all fucked up ½ of the time.
