    red eye reduction - help

    i forgot to turn on red eye reduction on my cam, and i got some evil looking pics. any of u photography guru's got some advice for me on how to get rid of this on the pics? photoshop, etc.. ?

    Hmm in photoshop: I would select the eyes, go to Image -> Adjustments -> Levels and just play with that until I get a regular colour.

      Is this for a set of pics as in a content set or just a couple pics of you and the groupies?

      If its just a few pics, youll obviously have to PS'em using a few methods, one being previously mentioned, but it lost likely will be more pain than its worth or possibly look silly

      Just select the eyes as said and edit them, their opacity and brightness and contrast.

        um, no its not content its my 15 year old cousin. we chilled in ft myers this past weekend.

        speaking of florida, i met romeo from candid while i was there. they have a cool setup in tampa. have to admit im jealous. i didnt realize how big they are. seems like the do EVERYTHING u can imagine.

          I find that if the model or subject looks about 2 inches to the side of the camera and not directly at the lens the redeye rarely shows up. Some good back-lighting and ambience light bounced off the ceiling helps as well.

          As for fixing the pic, I use Paint Shop Pro 7, and the redeye removal tool is pretty handy. I can even fix my dog's eyes with the pet-eye mode
