I really don't understand why someone in North America would use a dialup when high speed connections have been around 2-3 years at least.

There has to be fast access no matter where you live. You can live in the middle of the fucking lappland and have high-speed access to the web.

Not true. The only option some people have is satellite connections which blow in most cases.

Hate to tell you, but just because you have a high speed connection doesn't mean it's easily available to everyone in the world.

It's really not spreading as fast as people think. We just got it in Brooklyn - 1 mile from Manhattan - in November.
