What is the best way to create passwords for members (I wish to use ccbill, does ccbill do passwords?).

CCBill only offers an option to auto-create both random usernames and passes. And when they say random, they mean it.
Lower/uppercase letters and numbers mixed. That much more security than necessary, and it causes a shitload of login probs for members.
You can generate you own user/pass lists with some tool though and upload them to CCBill, that's what I do. Simple lowercase letters only usernames, and lowercase letters+numbers passes. Works like a charm. Totally crack safe, and no support trouble with members. -
I like all random. How hard is it to have people check the remember login and pass box.Originally posted by borys

It's not about remembering the login, it's the mix of uppercase and lowercase letters that causes a support nightmare. Trust me, I tried it.Originally posted by freeadultcontent

Actually member chosen username and generated lc letters and numbers only pass would be the best solution. Easy for members, and still 100% safe from brute force cracking.Comment
