Holy Shit! What a DVD!

The movie kicked all sorts of ass, but it's going to take me a fucking week to watch all of the extras....

As jam packed as this badboy is, a director's cut will be released later this year to doube dip, but it'll be in a plaster bust of Hellboy...

Anyone pick this up? The animated short for the Tale Tell Heart on the DVD was bizarre as hell...

Tomorrow night I'm going to watch it in comicbook mode...

I'm not much of a comic book fan, but I liked HellBoy, Spawn and Judge Dredd...

Maybe that's why I liked the movie so much...although I hated the Spawn and Judge Dredd movie versions

havent seen this one yet but now that the DVD is out I'd really like to give it a whirl. I hear good things.

Sykk - I'll have to take a pic tomorrow of what I have hanging in my office: The Hellboy origin page from the first issue
Also have a nice piece framed along with it of Hellboy skewering a demon with a big sword.
Everytime I see Mike Mignola he asks me to sell it back to him. Picked it up from him about 7 years ago for around $400 and it is probably worth $5k+ easy today.

I have a friend who is a total diehard Hellboy fan and he was talking about how you can tell Guillermo del Toro is a fan of comics as well by the attention to detail in the movie...I hadn't noticed a lot of the little things as much, but after wading through the goodies on the DVD, I just might pick up a little more

saw it in theaters, thought it was dam cool, i like almost comic book renderation. only thing i would have changed was the look of the monsters, a giant squid just doesnt scream super villain.
