Video Splitter HELP!

Easy Video Splitter is getting the best of me right now...

I'm trying to split some WMV files into 120 seconds bits...

I have Win XP pro 100% updated on all fronts... Still the splitter comes up with an error something like this: "Please make sure that your media player is the latest version"...

It is the latest version - I figure it's a codec problem or something like that...

Any ideas?

Thanks - but WMV's are not corupted.. Iv'e tryed with a ton of different files - even made some fresh ones with Power Director

I have to add, that I'm not interested in any other sofware - except if it's capable of splitting in fixed time bits - eg. 130 seconds a file

Could try reinstalling media player 9... If it is a codec problem wmv codecs are included, you could try Microsoft support too...They are over seas now which is why im here.

could try premire... Not to sure about wmv support it supports everything else though. http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp

I have tryed to reinstall.. I have even tryed this on my labtop which is 100% freshly installed

http://avicodec.duby.info/

Install it open the video with it. It will tell you which codecs you need for that video.

If the file is not corrupted, the problem is there for sure.
