my wife is in Turkey right now. she likes it. there is a lot of very nice resorts and beaches... and obviously a lot of history.

Yeah bloody history. History which is based on killing people, raping women, driving people away from their ancestral lands, genocide and god knows what other inhumane acts. If you ask me that is not history but CRIME! Sooner or later this is going to come back and haunt Turkey.

At least other nations confronted their history, like Germany did with the Holocaust. While Turkey still refuses to accept the Armenian Genocide when dozens of nations around the world did.
