Anyone having problems with StatsRemote?

We're looking into this right now. My ICQ doesn't work right now, I always get a 0406 error.

Maybe you could try to connect through a proxy until this is sorted out. To do this you need to add a proxy in IE.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings -> Proxy Server

If you don't have any proxies you can find quite a few here:

You might need to try a few of them before you find a working one.

Check this out, Effective July 19, 2004 Adelphia.net subscribes will be banned from accessing any Nationalnet(atlanta) websites. Adephia has blocked National Net sites from all its customers because National Net is nutorious for hosting spammers and will no comply with rules of regulation against them. Following will also apply to bellsouth, and aol on a yet not announced date.

Guess who runs on National Net. so far I have found 3 of them because it is places I go on a daily basis I wasnt able to access,
first STATSREMOTE is hosted with national net, next AL4A well there goes a damn good tgp I had a partner account with and the 3rd on I found was SIC CASH.

I called up adelphia they said they will not remove the block till some one from national net gets in contact with them and comply. I dont know about you guys but out of the people I talk to on ICQ 1:12 have Adelphia Broadband. This shit hurts, i just bought a 3 month subscription to STATSREMOTE and I cant even access it now because it cant find the server.

The reason is that they host with NatNet and NatNet has been BLOCKED by Adelphia and who knows what other ISPs, because supposedly NATNET is harboring spammers.


So if you cant access it, its because of NATNET.

Let me see if I can clear this up for you....yes, Adelphia started blocking NationalNet a while ago. Because Adelphia is such a small ISP we did not even notice it in our graphs. Research indicates that they are responsible for less than 1% of the users in the US and 0% of the users outside the US. One of our clients called in this morning and let us know what was going on, so we called Adelphia and spoke to them. We researched their issues and found it to be a Reseller for one of the largest sites on the internet that we happen to host. We agreed to speak with our client and they agreed to turn us back on. They said that it will be back on today or tonight. Like I said, it is so small noone will even notice it going or coming.

As for our Policy on spam...ask around and anyone will tell you that NationalNet is absolutely "NOT" notorious for hosting spammers. That is a crock and everyone knows it. Yes, we have had to terminate some accounts for spam, but we are not a haven at all and the spammers know it.

I do apologize to you for the inconvenience that you are experiencing because we do host some very large clients that I am sure you do business with but rest assured that we take things like this very seriously...this is why we host all of these people. Well, we noticed as quite a few people couldn't use StatsRemote today. Maybe Adelphia is used by more webmasters than other people... who knows.

Update... three different people told me that it's working again for them, so it seems like Adelphia removed the block
