    Batch DRM

    Hi,
Anyone know if it is possible to batch encode movies with DRM?

Doing it one by one just sounds like a pain (specially when you have a few thousand movies...)

    Any suggestion greatly apreciated

If u have the code, then it's easy. So, the answer to your question is yes. With our DRM solution, we are able to encrypt entire files in batch sets. If you would like to know more, just send us an icq. Or send us an email. Use the email below or send me one direct to [email protected].

    Good luck to you..

http://www.natnetdrm.com/ has a very good batch encoder that you can install on your PC and batch encode your movies and then upload them to the hosting provider

I forgot to mention about the batch encoding with DRM-Systems. Once content is uploaded to your account, they can process all your files in a single batch and a report on the status will be provided by the system at the end of the process. If you have an extremely large batch, you can contact them and they can encrypt it and have the output to you within the same business day.

I'd rather encrypt everything on our computers locally and then upload it to our servers, rather than doing a two step program, i.e:

"Upload and secure all of your exclusive member's content through our packaging server. Then download it to your server."

                    Can that be done?

What about possibly uploading to your regular server and pulling them across the network to the packageing server and then back to your server. This way the speed across is much faster and you only have to upload it to the network one time?

Unless I am not understanding you correctly

There are different ways of doing this and ONE solution does not work for all. Some have LOADS of content they need encrypted once, others have a little they want to change often. The most important thing to do is to choose a provider that can offer flexibility and manpower to handle whatever job there is to do.

And to do things yourself via simple interfaces always saves a TON of money in "consulting fees". I have seen enough of those to go around a planet, twice.

www.playadrm.com is IT - no questions asked.
