I mostly deal in free sites, but i'll tell you what I can since I just like to try and be helpful

AVS site is basically a mini paysite sorta. People by a membership through your AVS provider and gain access to your site along with whatever other sites are under the AVS provider.

Some AVS Providers are: http://www.cyberage.com http://www.adultcheck.com

Yea. I'm pretty new myself, I run http://www.adultclips.net/ (just redesigned it today)

you can put whatever you want behind an AVS. I have no idea how easy it is to get signups though or anything like that. I'll try and find a few example AVS sites for you that I think are nice and follow the commandments of adult design, it should help point you in the right direction.
