    Goggle PR update

    Now for some business.

Any wild guesses on the next PR update? Made some changes to a couple of sites and can't wait to find out how they do in the next update.

Till now the PR has been dropping at every update so I am hoping for something better this time.

Anyone else in the same boat as I am?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I sure hope so, because we all know that higher PR means more money in the pocket!

it does, when you know how to use it. Its the same like with traffic, you can have 1000k daily, but if you cannot convert it, you make $0

I've had a site ranked #1 for a term that gets something like 400k+ searches a month for a couple years now and only learned what PR was this year... Now I freak out if it moves... I'm staring to think PR is more like a "security blanket" in terms of "real" value.

Nice, but change the directory name to something else. Links in /links/ or /link/ directories don't count as links for PR any more, same for link.(s)htm(l) and links.(s)htm(l)

Your pagerank appears to be zero.. Am I doing something wrong ?

thats a bold statement with, I suspect, only circumstantial evidence. There maybe some links pages with their pr discounted but I still see plenty that do have and pass pr.
Please don't read webmasterworld and then come on GFY pretending to be an authority on the subject of google.

There maybe a lot of people here inexperienced with seo and are ready to swallow all your assertions but GFY has also some of the smartest.
In relation to having just a links page,I would be careful and make sure I have some content on that page as well because no matter what you name the page, google likes to see content.
