    is there one software that does it all?

    best to protect your pc from everything? spyware, adware, trojans, viruses, exploits, firewall....

    all that stuff, is there a magic software package that does it all best?

      don't think so. I must 6 or 7 maybe more have not looked

          best all in 1?

          not really.
          best you can do is a good firewall to stop it from coming in and about half a dozen programs to remove it if it does get in.

              I would suggest a Router and firewall.

                  I have a router, a firewall, an anti virus, I run spybot and some shit still got through.
                  I added adware from http://www.lavasoft.de and hijackthis from http://www.tomcoyote.com/hjt/ and it seems like it picked up some stuff that was missed from the first programs...
                  So now I have6 programs to protect my pc, this is really becoming CRAZY
                  .

                      I have pretty much the same setup.. linksys firewall router, Zone Alarm pro software router, anti virus and about 6 spybot type things

                          6 months ago I would have called you paranoiac, today I think that we don't have enough softwares running to protect us
