Conversion Ratio question

What would you think if you were using a sponsor and were converting on average 1:250 to 1:350 for months then all of a sudden the conversion is 0:5000?

Same traffic sources and fresh sites and content. I have changed nothing when I was converting 1:250ish yet now 0:5000 and growing.

I have spoken with the sponsor and was assured there was nothing wrong with my account. I will not say which sponsor it is so don't ask.

What do you guys think?

I'm having the same problem with Playboy Cash right now. It happens, don't know what to tell you. It doesn't really matter to me because I don't change out ads, but I certainly won't be building any additional sites unless it starts to pick up again.

If you can change the ads out for another sponsor, do it. If you can't, don't worry about it.

PlayboyCash is converting very well for me right now... around 1:45.

I can't change it out but I agree... no more traffic till the sales pick up again.

This has happened to me. I have sponsors, where one period I have excellent conversions, then the next period they are horrible. Overall, they average out to be good though. I too have been assured nothing was wrong by the sponsor.

These types of fluctuations happen to everyone, even if they dont come out and admit it. If you're seeing a steady decline in sales though and even your overall average is sucking, then it might just be that your traffic sources are getting stale.

So many variables... Type of traffic, type of ads, etc etc... Would need more info on it to figure out the dealio...

Some days I am like 1:300 and then the next 1:1200 and back again... Sometimes I just hit them harder when the conversions go up annd boom ratios fall back in line...

period after period it was a solid 1:250ish, no steady decline.... just BOOOOOOOOOOM from 1:250ish to 0:5000+

Could be anything, I have gone through periods like that before and never figured it out. Some people don't experience a summer slow down, others do, it could be that.
