You're joking right? Even in her televised shows you can hear her voice waver or break. She is a weak singer at best. The "issue" is that over the last 30+ years, more and more "singers" have come out and been made "stars" purely on attitude and marketing as opposed to actual singing abillity. However - contrary to most, I cannot stand the majority of shit, consuming airwaves. Thus, I frequent sites like Ughh.com, and fatbeats.com for my underground hiphop fix. Anti-commercial to some extent.

Not sure what any of that actually had to do with whether Jessica can sing or not but good for you. It does tell me though that you do like a lot of music from groups/individuals who have little if any vocal tallent. I'm not knocking that at all, music is music. And a great entertainer is a great entertainer.

My post had nothing to do with wether or not I hate gimmicks etc. but rather that the public has been so inundated with marketing etc. that they now believe that someone who has weak vocal skills is a great singer. My issue is that people should be intelligent enough to recognise it and not be one of the sheep.
