    Programmers, A question!!!

Is it possible to compile an executable program that utilizes PHP / MySQL, but all on the user's computer without having to connect to the internet?

Has this been done and is it worth doing?

I have a site that has a ton of coding, and it would take a long time to build the program from scratch in a different language.

    Thanks.

WAY over my head, but in theory wouldn't that mean an actual server or type of psuedo server would have to be running on the users machine to draw the dynamic content.

Again, don't get me wrong I really don't know shit for programing, just basics, but it sounds near impossible.
Curious to see if I'm wrong, and if I am wrong and it can be done, then let us pray it's only used for the power of good!~LOL
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Ok, after reading it closer I think I was just talking out my ass!~LOL If you're delivering as an excecutable then no reason the server couldn't installed and set to run.

I'll stay out of programming threads from now on, I promise!~LOL

I was informed by a few others that Zend Encoder is not what I'm looking for.

It only "Encodes" the PHP. "that just encodes it . its like a shitty isapi version "
