I really hate the "about:blank" browser hijacker!

I tried just about all the spyware removal programs I could find and it keeps coming back.

hijackthis seems to have it at bay at the moment, but I know it will be back!

yeah, it's a browser hijacker that loads a hacked page called about:blank and when you open your browser, it's a fucked up search engine page that is really hard to get rid of.

I know a few people that have had it, or have it.

i got that shit yeasterday but did a system restore and got rid of it. What browsers would you recamend im ready to can ie I downloaded firefox and was checking it out

I got that shit too and it was the final straw....I haven't opened IE since.

I've already been using Netscape 99% of the time anyways and it just switched to 100% of the time

If you are talking about me, this is a real hijacker. I use a blank page already, but this replaces a real about:blank with a search engine launch page used for screwing people out of there pay per clicks.

I know I would be pissed if I was paying per click and being abused by some fucking hack that installed his launch page on a million PC's. Could you imagine how shitty the ratios on sales are resulting from this shit?

Mine is blank too, at least it used to be, they replace the "blank" page with a search engine launch page.

It's a real hijacker and if you surf some of the sites like frogsex.com and shit like that, you will get it or something really similar and hard to remove.
