    WTF!?!?! (Windows question)

Had power drop a few weeks ago, and now every time I boot up windows wants to check 2 of my drives for errors... they're both external (firewire) drives, and when it starts to check,, it just sits there at 0% and there is no drive activity..

I've checked them from within Windows..no errors.. fuck one of the drives is empty.

is there a way to cancel this shit?

My drive did this for 6 months before one day it just up and died on me. I should have clued in when it couldn't get past 32% on a defrag.
