i wanna protect my members area with htaccess and make a 404 document.. whats the codes to make on my .htaccess file to do this?

the error document thing is easy

add this to .htaccess

ErrorDocument 404 http://mydomain/404page.html

if you just want a single password for all your members this page makes it easy
