EPMD imexposed.com using banner without permission

EPMD of imexposed.com ran a banner contest late last night and I submitted a few entries. It began to become clear that he was fishing for free work and wasn't going to pay anyone, so a couple of people removed their entries and I then followed suit. Unfortunately it looks like he managed to grab at least one of mine before I deleted them because he is using it in his affiliate program already and he never paid or even contacted me for permission. the other night he was asking around gfy for a few banners. So I contacted him and offered my services. He basicaly gave me the go ahead, told me how he wanted them then once I proceeded to talk money, he fucking disapeared! it was at that point I knew he was not serious about paying for good work. I think he expected me to work on them, hand them over then chase him for money. it jus doesn't work that way. I prefer money upfront unless I know the person. I do tons of work for sly and he always pays so I dont mind with people liek him. Newbies just won't get my time of day anymore unless they send me a fuckign check or paypal.


EPMD: I suggest you remove these hard working people's banners NOW. I accepted the fact that you wasted my time, but to STEAL from fellow hardworking webmasters is NO ACCEPTABLE. These are very good people you fucked over and reprocutions will happen. Karma is a bitch

Problem is, not everyone that uses the domainsbyproxy service are scumbags...a friend of mine has to use them because his ex (who is a scumbag) would try to use the fact he does work in the adult business against him in a child custody battle and she would make him out to look like a ch*ld pornographer...which he certainly is not...but you know how these custody battles go...so the guy tries to hide the fact that he is in the adult business so that his kid can grow up with him in a decent home rather than with her in her...who doesn't give a damn about the kid...just wants the support money.

Your friend may be an exception, but in general people that try to stay anonymous or use fake identities have something illegal to hide...if you have a honest business and pay your taxes there is nothing to hide normally. It's 1% innocents and 99% scammers using this service imho.

I use the Domains By Proxy service, too. I use it because #1 I am female and I don't want stalkers coming around bothering me because they think I'll be an easy lay because I work in porn. This happened to a friend of mine who ran a rather popular link list. THREE separate men found her address by WHOIS and started stalking her. One even tried camping in her back yard with a tent! She finally had to move.

And #2, I do it because I have kids. I don't want to risk even a small chance that they could be harmed by some psycho. I know that there are still ways to find out where someone lives, but why make it easy? And I can't afford to get and office right now. And now that WHOIS information MUST be correct or you might lose your domain, there really is no other option for me anymore.

This is the same reason I don't shoot content. I grew up around photography, my dad was a hobbyist, and I enjoy it. But I don't want to be a 2257 keeper and have my address all over creation.
