What are some techniques & scripts used to track and fight Hitbots?

Arrow Trader eXtreme (trading script) supports botlinks .. which are invisible / hidden links placed between your galleries.

If anything clicks on them they're assumed to be a hitbot and you can go from there. I caught one of my better trades massively hitbotting me with this technique. Deleted and blacklisted the trade 3 days ago and I'm still getting 130 bot hits per day from this domain .. (and a ton of others belonging to the same guy .. but he never signed up those domains for trades .. weird)

Blacklisted them all and ATX blocks them via .htaccess so they don't chew up bandwidth and get sent to trades.

Anyone know of a standalone script that monitors for hitbots?

Thanks, I'll see what it has to offer and consider it. So far it's the only option I've been turned to.

Not bad at all, I'm mainly just looking for something to help with future prevention...
