It just wasn't working on the default mozilla page I was on for some reason.

i'm gettin it today, no more IE, no more Outlook Express - spyware magnets.

i hope u don't have to manually set up helper applications on Firebird, always seems to be a bitch for me.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

            You'll love it

Be sure to grab http://mozdev.googlebar.com as well... and right click on the little G to tweak the googlebar layout to your likings.

Also remember you can middle-click on any link to open a new tab (then middle click on the tab to close it).

            helper applications?

.... I shouldn't have edited the first post I guess.

I basically asked if the ability to drag the current url to your desktop (to create a shortcut/link to it) was removed. It wasn't working for me on the page I was on but there must have been something else going on on that page - because everywhere else it works.

I was afraid someone had the patent on that process & they were forced to remove it.

The new Firefox 0.9RC seems pretty slick, try it out.

It was a little bitch for me too when I first installed it. Then I found this URL: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org

It lists all the popular plugins, and makes installing them a breeze.
