    Polyphasic Sleep?

Have any of you tried this?

Basically it involves sleeping a total of 2-3 hours a day in 20-30 minute naps. I've heard of astronauts being put on this program, just wondering if any of you have given it a try, considering the flexibility in most webmaster's schedules.

I would never survive the 10 day transition period, and its totally incompatible with family life, but aside from that I would love to be on this schedule.

Let us know if you try it.

I'm considering giving it a try and maybe putting a blog up while I do it. If I do, I'll post a link in this thread.

The scary thing is, I've been looking into this for the past few hours, and most of the people that have tried this seem to just disappear. After 45-60 days, their blogs just stop.

Pretty hardcore concept. You could definity get a lot of work done. Meth gives you more hours too but I think the side effects out weigh the benefits in that case. Good luck
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

We would all love to have more hours in the day but this isn't the way to do it, too dangerous.

Read through a lot of those blogs and see what some of the permanent negative effects of long term sleep deprivation are.

There was a radio DJ about 30 years ago who went without sleep for a week as a publicity stunt. The hallucinations and nausea were nothing. He basically went crazy a couple months after and had to be committed to a mental ward.

I do a thirty minute cat nap occasionally and that works great as a recharge.
