good advice...that is what i'm talking about....i'm thinking that everyone has this type of mentality the first time they do a threesome.....i'm trying to find out if i'm the only one and if it goes away after the first time

I agree with Elli. If you're so worried about your dick bumping into your firend's dick, I don't think a male-male-female threesome is the right thing for you.

Doing it won't make you "get over it". It will be a trial by fire. You need to be "over it" before you even consider putting yourself in that situation.

I've been in a couple of 2 man 3 somes and it's pretty easy to keep clear of the other guy. We basically just took turns at opposite ends.
