Need a simple basic DivX converter.

I need a program that can simply turn a regular AVI into DivX format. Preferably free. And hopefully a one click conversion kind of deal. I'm not after anything fancy.

Anyone know of anything simple like this?

I'd rather not sift through the bullshit. I know there are people here that use software like this and i'd like to use something recommended by someone. I have already searched through google, and all the shit has a bunch of extra bells and whistles i'm not interested in.

I've always used VirtualDub with the DivX codec to

encode all of my files...

I use virtualdub or tmpgenc for all my encoding..

Neither of which is very "easy", but there are great tutorials out there. I like knowing how to really do stuff.

I don't know about VirtuaDub, I've used Premiere for years and am happy with it. I did , however buy WinMPG when I found. It's the easiest and most hassle-free program I found. It's only like $30 but worth 10 times that easily!
