Input needed on a custom AVS script

I have been talking with a good programmer friend of mine to do a custom AVS script with some sweet features added to it.
Now here is the deal.
The script will be done in PHP and will be offered to the first 6 purchasers at $2500 with the option to customize the script the any way you want. (I do not count as one of the 6 but I pay the same $) Also, a full 6 months of support.
If I could afford it, I would keep this gem to myself but a script is not cheap to get customized for just one person on a limited budget. Plus, we need all the input we can get to make it the best. You tell the programmer want you want added and it will get added.

This crap is not worth $2500, you could easily higher a programmer for $25-30 an hour to write this in php and it would take them no more then 20-30hours.

Why do you want $2500 per person?

why only 6 months support,,, especially when your only selling it to 6 people and at 2500 should i should get lifetime support and free upgrades,,,,
