    Storage Auctions Experiences?

    Me and my friend are thinking about checking out a couple of self storage storage auctions. Maybe see if we can get some stuff that we can resell on ebay or something. I know a couple of u guys do this, so whats your experience with it?

    Anyone got any estimates of how much those auctions usually go for (door to door storage and self storage) so I can think about how much money we might need.

      Bring at least 500 bucks, a big flashlight and watch for staged units that are made to look valuable by storage owners trying to get rid of some crap and stacking it neatly to look valuable

      Stay away from units with matresses

              I went to one last week and if was a HUGE waste of time. But I've heard of people getting some real cool shit. The only advice I could give would be to read Nasty's post again.
