    Windows XP - WTF!!! Help!!

What is the deal with this operating system. My friend's computer is 1gig yadda yadda - newer than mine...

They are running Windows XP and it is mind-numbling slow to open windows etc, etc, and it freezes on him 2-3 times/day and programs crash a lot too...

Is XP just really slow like this (2-3 seconds to see exploere when you hit "windows +e")

This machine only has 32MB of ram - could that be doing something?

Damn microsoft... I have win 98 still and after seeing that XP crap I am never removing this OS :p

I thought 32 Meg of RAM was the bare minimum for Windows 98. I wouldn't run Windows XP on anything less than 256 meg of ram. I recommend 512 if you wanna keep things nice and stable.
        26 + 6 = 1
