webair tech support spread a little thin?

last couple days have had trouble getting anything done, either by email, live web support, or telephone call.

anyone know anything?

I've found the people on Live Help to be really useful the past 2-3 days... Before that I had some complaints about them, but of late they've been awesome

They just had an almost business crippling downtime, so I am sure many of the techs would be busy making sure it doesn't happen again in the near future, because if they had another like that anytime soon I am positive they would lose a lot of customers.

fuckin webair has been pissing me off the last couple of days...

I wanted to move a site to its own ip, so I tried deleting it with the control panel. that didnt work. so I did live support, and had them delete it... cool it was now gone... so I went to add the domain on a new ip, unfortunately for me the control panel says the site already exists and I cant add it... Live support didnt know what the fuck was wrong, had me put in a support ticket to have a senior dude look at it right away, nothing happend but I got an email saying it was resolved. wtf ! a couple of tries with live support later I got to talk to someone else who eventually just disappeared from the chat session never to be seen again... now the site has been down for 2 days and Im freakin pissed !

they will recieve a phone call tomorrow... I may be in the market for a new host.

If the search worked here, you could see how many posts people have made in the last few weeks about how webair's hosting was down - about how they cant' get anyone on the phone, icq or email. I know all about their service.

You need a clue and do some research. They are one of the biggest US based spamhosts.... I don't know anything about their technical expertise but I don't think an XBIZ award winner should be hosting MULTIPLE ROKSO SPAMMERS. Atherton is one example of major scum he has hosted, Super Zonda, and Webfinity/Dynamic pipe another. These guys are the worst slime imaginable, and no DECENT host would accept them.

Your right though - what I think about Mike as a person has nothing to do with all those threads about peoples websites being down and not being able to get service. I'm sure Mike treats his customers very well - I treat mine well to - and I'm sure you treat yours well. I am not a customer of Mikes and after dealing with him on a personal level - I'll never be a customer of his. And I would never refer anyone to him for hosting. He's one of the lowest-life forms...just like all those spammers that he sleeps with. I can only hope that one day he get's what he deserves

You guys really need to do some research on who the biggest spamhosts and providers are. The biggest of the big from Verio to Level 3 host spammers. Pointing the finger at Webair and saying, "They are bad, they spam! Eewwwww!" is childish.

Ever heard of a company being pinklisted? Do some research and come back here once you find out what that is. You will feel like a total ass for posting the bs you are posting.

As far as Webair is concerned, I had them switch some things around for my sites and do a couple of minor things. They responded and handled all of it as if there wasn't a problem... yet they had the power issue going on at the same time.

Actually while not wanting to get too involved while you rip eachother up, my box was down for around 8 hours, and I think most people experienced at least 5 hours off peak downtime.

It can happen, just hope its not too often.
