Status Report: WEBAIR.COM

Today we experienced a power failure within the auto transfer switch between backup generator, and ups, that effected a segment of our data center space. We are scheduling a replacement and bringing in an additional backup external generator immediately to compensate. As of now all power has been fully restored.

We apologize for the incontinence and credits will be issuesd accordingly when the transfer switch has been replaced. Additionally, we will be e-mailing our clients with any scheduled maintenance related issues. Again , all servers should be up and running, if you are still having issues please contact me and I will have a tech on your server immediately.


Again my apologies for this inconvenience.

The idiots on this board who were running their mouth about webair will one day see the light.

Every host will have problems, its how distant between each problem that separates hosts.

Webair is one of the best, always has been, have been with them since before I even started on this board, 3+ years, most likely closer to 4+ now

Fuck yeah that outage last yr in NY , i had no wpower for like 36 hours but the sites were still up and humming

those 36 hours were painful, not being able to check your sale stats/uptime

I also had some personal servers running here, lost quite a few bucks due to that outage

Just currious here....If this was today's problem.....What caused the down time the other two days last week? And why is it that none of the techs were available on ICQ when they were needed over the weekend?

Edit : My server has been up for 6 months, so webair has been good. I hope they get this little problem ironed out soon though. Webmasters tend not to forgive extended periods of downtime.
