2000Charge - No Third Party Processing

Just in case anyone is processing with 2000Charge, - they have stopped 3rd party billing, alledgely since the 18th of this month, but in practice since the 15th - they just did not care to mention this to anyone.

You may.. or most likely, may not, have had any email or other notification from them. This was one of these subject they prefer to not mention to webmasters.

Once again... ya can't afford to trust *any* third party processors with recurring billing (since that control is often not within their hands) nor any purveyors of merchant accounts where the situation is really the same, but with extended risk to the client.

Sorry to any folks who just lost their recurring, once again

Now... it's time for another look at "real billing":-)

I've tested this and it does really work. People will mail you there checks with just that comittment of trust. What's the worst case? If it doesn't arrive in a few days, you just cancel their pass.

Yea.... I was actually thinking about the people who have "half plans" implemented where the scenario was not the same as "credit card" processing and the rules governing "credit cards" do not, and most likely, never would apply since the card companies do not have the same "rights" over clients money.

The stuff epassporte.com have is one of these instances - I am sure they have been told about the whole possible scenario, but have implemented part of it. There may be obstacles and good reasons why they have not completed the loop.

There is a lot to this shit, and probably obstacle courses, but the sooner someone gets their act together on it - I'd think we will all be happy people!

It still amazes me the crappy standards processors have - it does not matter who they are. The track record over the years has been lower than anything I've ever dished out to anyone in decades of doing business.

I mention "processors" - they are not alone. The sheer corporate legalised fraud at the top level with card monopoly abuse where corps wrap themselves up with "legal words" and a pack of lawyers in a rathole to cover their asses, is neither honorable or have any connection to "justice".

Looks like the days of the hitman work best!

Does anyone else think that this is a TOTAL ASS FUCK.... No call, no email, no return phone calls... no notification AT ALL... They had to see this coming.

It's AMAZING to me that a company can just do this and not make a statement.

We use them for backup billing and Euro and bill a make good amount every month. (our wire never showed up on the 15th either)

We have 30+ sites that use them and have to be changed, thought we should wait to hear from someone over there before we removed all the code)

I got this info from their site

Credit Card Transactions (May 20):
Please note that we no longer take credit card transactions if you do not have your own Merchant Account, in order to apply for your own Merchant Account, please contact [email protected].

Your recurring will continue to run beginning of next week, please note this does not effect clients with their own Merchant Account, or any of our alternative billing clients in any way.
