Your best bet would probably find a program that'll mail for your site on behalf of you (of course you'd still get a few whiners, but not as many)

Hmm...

Looks like I'm going to have to be quite careful and vet any list. In fact - I may just buy space on other programs' mailouts - I don't want to piss off webmasters before things really start going...
