When I first got mine it was down for a day as well... I called them, turns out it was switched off (wtf?) They switched it on, and it's been fine for the last 3 months.
...Of course I'm not even using it right now, who needs hosting

Their servers are unmanaged.. if their network is up, and your server is down it's probably your fault.
I have a server with them as well... well with their bigbrother The Planet, but same datacenter and its up.
If you need some help with the initial setup, let me know.. I can install some service monitoring, firewall, etc for you, free of charge.

I have another server at a good hosting company where i pay more for my bw. I use them for all my other sites, paysites, sites with scripts etc.
This is bw only for galleries and i only bought one after i read a lot of positive reactions from people. I seem to have bad luck and im pretty sure this is a professional company who know what they are doing.

Either you suck at managing the server, or they made a mistake.
If it's their fault it will be solved within a day or so, and you'll be up and running for the next year(s) without any problems.
