Ok, I have the oppurtunity to buy a 5.0 mustang with a bunch of add ons and horse power. Bunky says that a girl shouldnt have all that bc they cant drive and he thinks I would kill myself. What do you think??

ok its a stock 5.0 block with 351 heads boared over.. EgA 3.3 cam (think thats it) Saleen Struts and Shocks Cobra Intake, and a few other boltons about 300+ HP in addons alone not to mention the weight reductions hes done to it.. its faster than my Mustang.

get what you like, but i'd hope it has tract controll, or at the very least put a set of tract bars on it. with that kinda power you'll be all over the road when it rains. and definaly, take it out in an empty parking lot about 3am and learn its limits, make it slide, and make a mental note of what it took to slide it. a car like that can be dangerous if youve never had one before. but once you learn its limits, you wont want a normal car again

Hey Patchs I myself own a 5.0L Stang. It is the 1995 model the last year they put in the 5.0L engine. I love it!
I have driven some faster cars previously such as a Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe (Supercharged) and also a Eagle Talon (AWD Turbo). Let me tell you the Stang will kick the shit out of either of these cars.
I would suggest calling your insurance broker 1st before you buy the car as it is one of the more expensive cars to insure because of the high theft and accident rates. I am 26 and with full coverage my payment is $125 a month. I thought this was pretty low considering I had a couple of tickets a few years ago. But I had quotes from as high as $3000 to as low as $1200.
The car is a lot of fun to drive but it is not a good car for the winter (obviously!) I put 200lbs of concrete in the back of my car during the winter months so I would not slide all over the fucking place.
Mileage is pretty shit! I only get 600kms TOPS! On a full tank of premium gas, which costs about $38 (Canuck) bone dry.
I love my stang as it is the GT model and has the full leather interior, Mach 460 cd stereo and all the power bells and whistles. I would definetely recommend picking one up if you can find it cheap!

Oh one last thing! The power in these beasts are amazing! When I open it up on the freeway I just sink back in the leather. I have not yet found a rice racer that can keep up with me yet.
