Yeah, they really do have a bad rep now. I wonder why they're so adamant with disciplining customers that get spam complaints. I dont know of any other registrars that hijack domains like godaddy does.

Actually I moved many of my most important ones to namecheap and I have been using name cheap for all new registrartions for a while. I never got around to transferring the rest and adultgods got caught up in it. They have forwarded my complaint to the 'correct department' and I expect it will be a while before I hear from them.

I think so. I never used the ref spammer but I think Rep Monkey showed a few people it and also sold some copies. But that is insane.

I did demonstrate it to some people, but I did so from my own local server, and without spamming anything of value (it was more about bombing a bunch of referrer stat pages with "hello there" as referrer).
