    streaming headache from hell!!

I have files uploaded to my server and they are streaming real time, but want the viewers to be able to drag the status bar and it rebuffer, but it won't. it will start playing and you have to watch the whole thing from start to finish. ARGH! I tried multiple formats and checked and rechecked the code...what the hell is up with my vids! Any advice on what I may be missing? Thanks in advance.
when in doubt...don't whip it out!

We have a virtual server at Candid so I assume it is http. We don't have a seperate setup for just our vids.

When I talked to them, they were very unhelpful. They basically said it was impossible to do what I want to do since they are "real time" streaming. But I've seen other 30 min. movies that you can do it, so back to square one. But, thanks.
