    Backordering a domain

A friend of mine isnt renewing his domain. It is in the redemption period. I actually want the domain, because it is a great name, but additionally it does have PR.

Since it has PR I am betting other webmasters are watching it as well. In backordering a domain what are my chances of actually getting it? Anything I can do to make my chances more likely?

Pay your friend to renew it from Redemption and transfer it to you. You'll likely get it cheaper that way if others want it too.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. He knows what I intend to do with it (it was a mainstream site) and he doesnt want me to use it. Theirfore he wont sell it.

Ehhh, don't put porn on a mainstream domain that already has links everywhere. That's just asking for it
