OK, exactly what tires are they using? 0-60 in 1.9 and the quarter in 8.95? Yes, it has plenty of horsepower and torque at the flywheel but those numbers seem a bit low.

i liked it until i saw the interior and realized it was an auto and had fake carbon fiber dash decals. and that car does not run 8's on street tires.. if it runs 8's at all.

2002 Lingenfelter Corvette can do 0-60 in 1.97 sec, quarter mile 9.25 sec. costs the same as the 800TT viper, has about the same horsepower but goes faster. Motor Trend tested it against a F-18/A fighter jet.
this car is on slicks , an experienced driver, given this car and no slicks, should be able to bring it within a half second of that 0-60 time with slicks , like 2.5sec.
oh and btw , you can choose the transmission , take the 6-Speed manual !
