Well sure Tommy is picky about who he trades with, and relies mostly on bookmarks... but I'm guessing he's still very low tech... I know Pichunter and JJJ are really hot programmers... I think Tommy told me once he wouldn't use CGI because it would just meltdown his server... Will high-tech traffic trading TGP's dominate over older bookmark based sites? Damn look at Persian Kitty way down the list -- how many times have we all been turned down for a link on that site? I figure every time you turn down (reject) a trade you are simply losing traffic and a chance for growth.

well, I look at it this way. Bookmark traffic is AWESOME! They will convert to money sooner or later. People think of them as freeloaders. They are, BUT! After couple months of returning back to your site they will enventually buy something. So... Bookmarkers are good. But if you don't trade traffic you don't get those bookmarkers. That is why persian kitty and other will just go down the list day by day as new youngsters start pushing them down. Trades is way to go. If you don't trade, you don't gain bookmarks.
