Guy shoots himself when pulled over by cops..

Here in Cincinnati lastnight, it got a little rough. In one of our many housing projects, a 18 year old shot himself in the head as soon as he was pulled over by police. The residents THOUGHT the police shot him, so they fired at the police 2 different times. One news van was set on fire and another had it's win dow smashed all to hell. It's getting really fucked up around here.. I feel for our police sometimes because they are just doing their job and they get shot at? Crazy shit... We've already had close to 30 murders this year, and just last week, police shot and killed a guy because he tried to run them over with his truck. You wouldn't think all this shit happens in Ohio, heh...

Do you think he wanted to join his friend? Then he again he might of felt guilt cause he killed his friend, made it look like a suicide. He thought cops were on to him.

In America, not the rest of the civilized world. Read "The Culture of Fear" by Barry Glassner. Bowling for Columbine does and ok job summing up the problem as well. You're being fed violence and fear all day long, even when crimes rates dropped during the 90's.

Why? Americans have too large of an opportunity to become successful. They have the potential to be rich and successful to a degree never seen by any other nation. On average the more time and money people have, the more intelligent and aware they because. If you're worried all day about people killing you and paying your bills, you don't have much time to worry about how badly the government and banks are fucking you over.

If you weren't killing each other and spending money/lives/resouces on wars, too many people would be wealthy, and therefor too many people who be too intelligent. This would defeat the hierarchical system designed to keep the wealth in the hands of a few.
