From a programming standpoint, I like invision as well, it's very easy to integrate into your current sites (SPAM: if you need help doing it, hit us up)

I second InvisionBoard - its VERY WELL written and can easily be extended with the new modules. Straightforwardly customizeable (skinning it is not hard at all) and admin panel is great.
I can't see why anyone would want to pay up cash for V Bulletin. I just don't think it's worth it.
